Fixed dilated pupils can cause significant photophobia and glare. Although some cases are responsive to conservative treatment, others necessitate surgical reconstruction. Interdigitating aniridia rings have been inserted with success in two cases – one with Urrets-Zavalia syndrome and the other with traumatic mydriasis. The video illustrates the surgical techniques involved and the complexities of insertion.
