Developing Ophthalmic Teaching Sessions (DOTS) is an idea to produce an educational series of videos aimed towards resident medical officers on the subjects of anatomy, physiology, optics, pharmacology, pathology and clinical examination.
The ability to access this resource via the internet would allow for standardised teaching sessions to be accessible to residents at multiple hospital locations.
The following film demonstrates an example teaching session on the optics of the direct ophthalmoscope in examination of an emmetropic, hypermetropic and myopic eye.
