Synopsis: The development of Choroidal neovascularization (CNVM) is a common feature of many posterior segment diseases. This symposium addresses the characteristics of CNVM’s in many of these conditions and outlines the pathophysiology and clinical features in each situation. The natural history and management of all these different CNVM’s is also not the same. The participants in this symposium will introduce the various diseases associated with the development of CNVM’s, present illustrative cases and discuss the management of the same.
