Synopsis: Corneal disease is faced by every ophthalmologist. Recent innovations and new treat- ments have changed the way we address these problems. This Symposium aims to update the general ophthalmologist on the current treatment of common corneal conditions. Rather than a summary lecture, each speaker will give the 5 key points relevant to a general ophthalmologist managing these conditions. OSSN, keratoconus, endothelial disease, bacterial microbial kerati- tis, herpes simplex keratitis dry eye syndrome and specific corneal issues impacting cataract sur- gery outcomes will be covered.
